F-104G Starfighter

Hello!

I really am enjoying the mod, its pretty cool. The link to the F-104G skin template is not working, do you know where I could find the template?

Ich habe mich mal dran gemacht und mit Hilfe von dem BGDAM 0.5.1 Guide von RedBeard2 und den von ihm erhobenen Daten (er hat mir auch erlaubt die Daten weiter zu verbreiten) das SFM von der F-104G so angepasst, dass das Flugmodell etwas mehr F104rig fliegt.
Wenn ihr das benutzen wollt, seit ihr herzlich eingeladen. Einfach im Ordner VSN_104G die *.lua ersetzen und ab gehts.
Ach ja, ich habe auch die A-A Waffen der F104G rauseditiert, die sie nicht hatte...
Das Radar hab ich auch angepasst und ist jetzt von der Leistungsfähigkeit das AN/APQ120, also das Radar von der F-4...man sieht also auch deutlich schlechter als vorher Max-Lock_Range für das Radar sind aktuell 60 nm...also nicht ärgern wenn es auf 160nm nichts sieht...
Viel Spaß damit...ich will es noch ein wenig weiter anpassen. Wenn es dann den nächsten Schritt gemacht hat, lade ich es nochmal neu hoch.

Hello to you all,

I am new to your forum and new to DCS.

I like to fly the Starfighter-mod in DCS (my current DCS version 2.5.6.55960 stable version). The DCS folder is stored under e:\program files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World. I downloaded VSN_F104G and tried to install it but it did not work out as it should. The goal is to fly the Starfighter with the German and Dutch F-104 liveries.

I read multiple threads about how to install mods. It is very confusing. So I need some help... please advise.

Install the mod here:

C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\aircraft

Thank you very much... it worked! The confusion was that my windows is a Dutch version so I did not recognize the folders.

One question remaining: I downloaded RNLAF F-104 from the DCS-forum (Royal Netherlands Airforce F-104G pack for VSN F-104). In which folder do I store these?

Hier eine neue *.lua für die F104G mit eingebautem AN/APQ-159 Radar, das diesmal deutlich besser funktioniert als das AN/APQ-120 das ich zuvor eingefügt hatte.
Radartracks werden auf ca. 60 nm angezeigt. Lock ist ab ca. 20 nm möglich, kein TWS und kein Multi-Lock...Look-down/shoot-down dafür schon...kommt ein bissel mehr an das NASARR F15 Radar der F104G ran, ist aber m.E. noch ein bissel zu gut...

Weiter habe ich noch AG Bewaffnung an den Pylonen eingefügt, die die F104G hatt, wie auch AG am Center-Pylon. Der AG-Modus der F15C ist rudimentär, aber ungelenkte Raketen und Freifallbomben kann er...von daher viel Spaß.

Hi Guys.
Once again a new VSN_F104G.lua. This time with a more functional AN/APQ-159 Radar (tracking beginning from 60nm and lock can be aquired from 20nm with look-down/shoot-down capabilities). AN/APQ-120 was not at all good, since ED decided to model it without look-down/shoot-down capabilities, so no chance tracking or locking enemys below the horizon...that didn't fit the original NASARR F15 Radar of the F-104.
Now more AG ordenance has been declared to the wingpylons and MK92 and 83 can be mounted on the center fuselage pylon.
You can use the F15C cockpit in AG as well, since it has a simplified AG-mode with rocket and free fall bomb aiming-modes.

ich habe den Starfighter installiert (OpenBeta), doch leider komme ich nicht ins Cockpit (nur die Außenansicht steht zur verfügung und die Ai übernimmt).
Besitze FC3 und vorher hat der Starfighter einwandfrei funktioniert.

I'm unable to fly the aircraft when I load into missions. The models are there but I am unable to take control. Currently running open beta.

Nicht viel Änderung aber eine ganz kleine Sache über die ich aufmerksam gemacht wurde

Ach ja, die F104g geht auch zum Bodenangriff, da die F15 Avionik ganz rudimentäre Möglichkeiten dafür bietet...diese dürften immer noch wesentlich weiter gewesen sein, als diejenigen die die wirkliche F104G hatte.

Moin zusammen,
meine Skins stehen momentan nicht mehr zum Download bereit.
Grund dafür sind Änderungen durch cdpkobra am Model des Starfighters.
Ich werde diese anpassen und dann neu hochladen wenn alle Änderungen abgeschlossen sind.

So Freunde der Nacht,
es kann langsam fleißig ans pinseln der neuen Highrez Skins für den Starfighter gehen.
Habe nun genug Referenzen zusammen.
Aber da ist mir noch eine Idee gekommen.
Ich würde gerne noch einige Waffen hinzufügen (NATO Rocketpods, Napalm Kanister, Matra Bomben usw.)
Die Waffen sind als Max Dateien vorhanden.
Könnte mir da jemand behilflich sein, diese in die SIM zu bekommen?
