"Firstly, let me convey on behalf of the entire Orbx team our sincerest thanks for the incredible support we received during the May Madness Sale. Needless to say it's been a record sales month for our little company and we're thrilled to be able to make some more exciting pricing announcements today.

For a long time we've held the belief that good quality payware addons command a premium in the market, and indeed this seemed to hold true at the launch of our FTX series back in 2008. However, with last years catastrophic GFC affecting every person's disposable income, we're been listening to plenty of customer feedback, and in particular the comments from potential customers who despite loving how our products looked in screenshots and videos, and rave reviews - still felt our pricing was too high.

Well we are responding, and have lowered the pricing across all our range, and in particular, now have a very aggressive price point on our DVD Limited Edition products.

Here's some highlights:

- From June 1st, our DVDs will not cost anymore than the new download lower prices, except for a $2 manufacturing fee. That is about the best DVD deal you'll get from ANY flight simulation addon vendor. Now there is almost no barrier to ordering the DVD edition of your favourite Orbx product, and enjoy the benefits of zero activation and validation.

- We will release new products at a slightly higher pricepoint which will remain in effect for about 6 months. Think of the "new release" model at Blockbuster Video After this new release period is over, those products will move down to the "Weekly Rental" sort of pricing, which we are calling the Classic Range. This means for our most ardent and enthusiastic supporters, there's not a huge premium to pay for getting our latest products first, and the new prices are so much lower than before it's like they are on permanent sale anyway!

- The AU SP3 DVD has been reduced in price by a whopping $80!!! To compensate anyone who purchased the AUSP3 DVD during the May madness sale, we will be emailing you a voucher for any free Orbx product of your choice. This makes paying full price a little easier to swallow. That voucher code can be used on any current or future Orbx product, including the soon-to-be-released 3W5 Concrete Muni.

So in summary, Orbx has responded to the market and calls from potential customers to lower prices and make our products more affordable. So from today June 1st, 2010 all prices across our range have a 'nicer' price point which will make it easier for you to try our products if you've been holding off due to the cost.
